MINI JAMS ON REGGAE NIGHT.
Alfardan Automobiles, the official MINI importer in Qatar, joins reggae fans for unique experience on the beach.
MINI joined hundreds of reggae fans at the St Regis last weekend to enjoy two unforgettable nights of jammin’ tunes and Caribbean inspired delicacies as part of the hotel’s final series of Reggae Nights before summer.
Taking place at the St Regis Doha Private Beach, each night kicked off with chilled vibes from DJ Sam Baila, followed by classic reggae tunes from resident band, Buggy Nakhente and Fully Loaded. With Reggae nights taking place every weekend, MINI added its own flavour to the nights by showcasing two of its newest models, the world’s First Sports Activity Coupé – the new MINI Paceman – as well as the MINI Coupé.
Unique, yet typically MINI, the MINI Paceman opens up a new chapter for the brand in Qatar. The seventh member to join the MINI family, its innovative combination of sportiness, extrovert design, hallmark MINI driving fun and an exclusive interior ambience will appeal to new target groups who have been looking for a MINI which combines the sportiness and space of an SUV with the sleek design of a Coupé. Meanwhile, the MINI Coupé is the brand’s first two-seater. It is specifically geared to maximise driving fun, providing a level of agility unmatched in the small car segment. It features a unique body and interior concept as well as the brand’s customary commitment to premium levels of quality, technology and go-kart driving experience.
MINI added even more fun by giving away special MINI goodie bags to partygoers, packed with cool MINI lifestyle items.
The sponsorship forms part of MINI’s unconventional approach to marketing, with the cheeky brand regularly supporting a number of local initiatives that promote culture, creativity and design.
For Mr. Mohammed Kandeel, General Manager of Alfardan Automobiles, MINI is the ideal partner for events such as the St Regis Doha’s Reggae Nights. “MINI is all about having fun and enjoying life. This participation was therefore the perfect fit for MINI and we were therefore delighted to join reggae fans and partygoers at this fun-filled weekend of great music, delicious food and chilled vibes,” says Mr Kandeel.
Organised by the St Regis Doha’s Oyster Bay and Bar, Reggae Nights form part of the hotel’s Reggae Beach Festival, a series of nights filled with live music and Caribbean inspired food and drink, which kicked off in March and concluded last weekend for the summer. They will resume later on in the year.
