This week, MINI fans across the Middle East will descend upon Beirut to participate in one of the hottest parties of the year. Joining the festivities will be eight lucky GCC residents who took part in last month's online competition and won a three day trip for them and a friend. 

 

Hundreds of MINI enthusiasts from across the GCC entered to win tickets to the region's biggest MINI event of the year and to take home cool MINI prizes. Each of the 'popular' winners answered five questions correctly and registered over 500 votes each from their friends to win the competition. The contest was an overwhelming success with over 2,500 votes recorded on the MINI-me.com website. 

 

With a jam-packed programme of fun and excitement prepared this Saturday, 23rd October 2010, the GCC winners will have the opportunity to drive with MINI owners from Lebanon to the historic city of Byblos from 10 am to 4 pm. One design initiative will be an exhibition of the designer toy MEGA created by EMIRATI designer Mohammed Abedin earlier this year. The exhibition is commissioned by Beirut's trendy Plastik* Magazine and MINI to underline the city's positioning as art capital of the Middle East and to showcase the very best in Lebanese talent in fashion, graffiti photography etc. Karen Karam, Ashekman and Roger Moukarzel are among the confirmed artists.
