In the MINI John Cooper Works Roadster you travel at hurricane speed to the next adventure. After all, it was precisely for this purpose that the engine with its motor racing genes was built.

And there’s no sparing the speedometer needle when the mighty power unit shows its faster side. In a sprint from standing start to 100 km/h, the needle flashes across the dial within 6.4 s. To see the gauge at full deflection, just keep your foot down until the top speed of 240 km/h is reached.

 

Another constant companion is the mix of agility and stability. It is above all the torsional reinforcements behind the seats that stiffen the bodyshell, enabling the sporty driving style in all situations. To make sure that the two-seater literally sticks to the asphalt at high speeds, the electric rear spoiler extends at 80 km/h. Aerodynamically this reduces the lift on the rear axle.

So nothing stands in the way of new adventures. Yet beware! With such a powerhouse involved, 365 days are barely enough to contain such adventure.

Packed to the brim with good ideas. The roll-over bars made of polished stainless steel, an automatically extendable rear spoiler and a load-through system from the passenger compartment into the 240-litre boot. A whole lot of intelligent features coupled with a pure spirit of adventure.
